Our regular Program

We Want to share the gospel's expectation in all that people Do and with whom we meet. This commitment reflects our view that trust and psychological health are profoundly connected.

At Redeemer we've got approximately 50 children and young men and women that are a part of the church family. As a church, we're eager to inform our kids about how great God is and what he's done and assist them in thinking about what difference that makes to them in their daily lives

On Sundays
Everybody stays in the very first part of the morning ceremony because we worship together as an entire church family, even though creche facilities are available to be used on a self-serve basis if necessary. After about 30 minutes, the service leader will suggest it is time for the kids to depart for their classes; this generally applies to all kids in school six and under.
In their different classes, the kids are taught the Bible in an age-appropriate manner through crafts, crafts, games, talks, and prayer times.

Midweek
Our older kids and youth are encouraged to join with people from Cornerstone Church in their construction on Castle Boulevard on Friday evenings. Kids are invited to bring along college friends, acquaintances, and anybody else in the age group who would like to join in the fun!

All people who look after kids at Redeemer have finished DBS tests and adhere to our protection policy.

Lead Over for Children and Youth

  • Redeemer Tots & Creche Babies under the age of one are looked after in our ‘baby creche’ room. We have playmats, bouncer chairs and toys. You are welcome to leave your baby with us, and we will come and get you from the main service if your child becomes distressed. You are also welcome to come and sit in the baby creche to feed your baby if you prefer not to do this in the main service.  Children join the Redeemer Tots group once they turn one, and remain in the group until they start school
  • Redeemer Kids We have two groups for primary school aged children: our lower primary group is for children in Reception to school year 2; our upper primary group is for children in school years 3-6. Both of these groups will include time for drinks and biscuits, a Bible story, games, and usually a craft and/or prayer activity. We love to help the children to grow in their understanding of who God is and what he is like, and to do this we follow a syllabus that takes us through both Old Testament and New Testament stories.
  • Redeemer Youth Our young people (years 7-11) meet together every other Sunday. On the occasions they remain in the main service they are given a booklet with questions and space for doodling to help them to engage with the sermon and to identify the main messages and how this might apply to their own situation.
